Local School-Link Activities

School-Link provides a range of activities at a local level to improve mental health outcomes for adolescents and their families. These include:

  1. Training in and coordination of a range of school/TAFE-based prevention, early intervention and resilience programs.
  2. Enhancing interagency collaboration.
  3. Clarification of pathways to care and service access issues

Staffing

Two Statewide School-Link Training Coordinators develop and deliver the School-Link Training Program across NSW (click here – link to contact details). Seventeen FTE Area School-Link Coordinators coordinate prevention, early intervention and resilience activities and interagency collaboration at a local level . A Statewide School-Link Coordinator, located at The Department of Health, coordinates the initiative.
