The Institute offers a number of postgraduate courses for Medical Practitioners, including RANZCP-accredited courses for Basic and Advanced Psychiatry Trainees and courses for General Practitioners.

The Master of Psychiatry is suitable for Basic Trainees and may also be taken as a non-degree course (Postgraduate Course in Psychiatry).

The Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatry Course is accredited for Advanced Trainees and is also suitable for Psychiatrists and Paediatricians. 

Advanced Training in the Psychotherapies is suitable for Advanced Trainees and is also of interest to Psychiatrists wishing to pursue further training in this subspecialty area.

General Practitioners who work with people with mental health problems can undertake courses at the Institute at a range of levels including Active Learning Modules and Focussed Psychological Strategy training. Postgraduate courses up to Masters level are also available.
